The Royal Moroccan Football Federation announced today, Tuesday, that national coach, Walid Regragui, has summoned French club Toulouse striker, Zakaria Abou Khalil, to replace the injured Elias Akhoumache.

The Spanish club Villarreal confirmed, the day before yesterday, Sunday, that its Moroccan striker, Elias Akhomache, is suffering from a tear in the cruciate ligament in his right knee, which he suffered last Saturday during a match in the 13th round of the Spanish League.

The Spanish club explained on the social media network “X” that the Moroccan international, who left the field on a stretcher during his team’s victory over Alaves (3-0), “suffers from a complete tear in the anterior cruciate ligament and a sprain in the inner lateral ligament of his right knee.”
