CAF reveals the ideal lineup for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, including 4 Moroccan players ✍️👇👇👇

The Technical Study Group of the Confederation of African Football (CAF) revealed on Wednesday the ideal lineup for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, which was hosted by Morocco from December 21 to January 18, and included four Moroccan players.

A statement from CAF, a copy of which was received by NajibPress on Wednesday, stated that the matter concerns the goalkeeper of the “Atlas Lions”, Yassine Bounou, who “signed an exceptional performance during this tournament”, and his net was only breached by two goals in seven matches, and his teammates Achraf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui and Brahim Diaz, who won the title of top scorer of the tournament.

The full list includes four players from Senegal: Moussa Niakaté, Pape Gueye, Idrissa Gueye and Sadio Mané, as well as Nigerians Calvin Bassey, Ademola Lookman and Victor Osimhen.

The ideal team was revealed by the CAF Technical Study Group, which developed an integrated technical analysis model that was applied remotely and then on the ground throughout the tournament, with the support of live data platforms, multi-angle video broadcasts, and specialized video analysts.
