The Mohammed V Solidarity Foundation, under the effective presidency of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, launched the twenty-fourth edition of the “Marhaba” operation to receive Moroccans residing abroad from June 5 to September 15.


The Foundation stated, in a statement, a copy of which was received by NajibpressENG on Tuesday, that it had launched Operation “Marhaba” at various reception points inside and outside Morocco in France, Spain and Italy, to accompany and assist members of the community during the stages of arrival and return to and from Morocco, in parallel with The remaining arrangements and measures taken by the parties involved in implementing the process.


The same source added that the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity, which is implementing and coordinating this process, constitutes the primary interface for communication with members of the community, noting that the Foundation has opened twenty-four (24) “welcome” reception spaces, through which it provides social assistance services and medical care.


The communication recorded that, within Morocco, 18 reception spaces were operated at the ports of Tangier Med, Tangier Medina, Al Hoceima, and Nador, and at the airports of Casablanca Mohammed V, Rabat-Salé, Oujda Angad, Nador Laroui, Agadir Al Massira, Fez Sais, Marrakesh Menara, and Tangier. Ibn Battuta, and the rest areas of Tangier Med, Jebha, Tazaghine, and Samir M'diq, as well as at the Bab Sabbata and Bab Melilla crossings.


As for outside the national territory, the same source continues, the six “Marhaba” reception centers are located at the level of European ports: Genoa in Italy, Sete and Marseille in France, Almeria, Algeciras, and Motril in Spain.


Humanitarian services are enhanced by providing regular attendance by the Central Coordination Office located in Rabat, which works under the supervision of the Foundation. This office provides telephone assistance, tracks the daily progress of the process and ensures that all requests are processed correctly.


The communication indicated that the “Marhaba” call service is available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day throughout the operation.
