Launching the proximity caravan in Tangier in the service of Moroccans around the world “Operation (Marhaba 2025)”✍️๐๐๐
The Ministry of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and Urban Policy organized a campaign for Moroccans living abroad as part of the "Marhaba 2025" campaign.
A statement from the ministry, a copy of which was obtained by NajibPressEng, stated that the proximity caravan was launched on August 2nd in Tangier under the slogan “Construction and Housing in the Service of Moroccans Abroad.” The caravan will tour 10 cities across the Kingdom until August 31st.
The Ministry explained that the program for this national campaign for the year 2025 has been implemented, in implementation of the royal directives, and within the framework of the special care that His Majesty the King gives to members of the community, and in accordance with the provisions of Circular No. 7049 issued by the Minister of National Land Use Planning, Urban Planning, Housing and City Policy, To the urban development group, urban agencies, and regional and provincial directorates under the Ministry, in order to effectively engage in bringing services closer and strengthening bridges of trust and communication for the benefit of citizens residing abroad.
The same source highlighted that this initiative falls within the framework of a strategic vision that places citizens—both at home and abroad—at the heart of the ministry's concerns, by providing field and informational support that enables members of the community to learn about the ministry's missions and programs aimed at providing decent housing, most notably the "Direct Housing Support" program.
As part of this campaign, the same statement added, a series of practical measures have been taken to improve the quality of reception and provide effective public service, such as creating reception and guidance spaces in all central and decentralized departments and institutions affiliated with the ministry, allocating special windows within the commercial agencies of urban development companies and reception cells in urban agencies, The same applies to border crossings, in addition to organizing open days to introduce the Ministry's programs and tasks, the quality of services provided, and to provide comprehensive explanations of real estate offers related to housing or investment.
The ministry affirmed that it is working to facilitate community members' access to urban data, whether through digital platforms or direct communication, while simplifying procedures and ensuring special attention to investment and housing-related issues of interest to this segment of citizens.
The Ministry, with all its components, reiterated its emphasis on the strategic nature of this campaign, expressing its full and continuous commitment to supporting Moroccans living abroad and strengthening their ties with their homeland through high-quality field services, transparent offerings, and a civic vision that reinforces the strong bond between Moroccans living abroad and their country.
