Minister of Economy and Finance : “About 34 thousand families have benefited from direct housing support so far"✍️👇👇👇

Today, Monday, in the House of Representatives, the Minister of Economy and Finance, Nadia Fattah, revealed the latest toll of beneficiaries of the direct housing support program, which amounted to 33,565 families as of December 27.

In her response to a question during the oral question session about “the preliminary results of the direct housing support program,” presented by the Progress and Socialism Team, the Minister explained that the percentage of women benefiting from housing support reached 42 percent, while the percentage of Moroccans residing abroad reached 22 percent.

She indicated that the number of requests received on the platform designated for support reached a total of 125,280, while 111,569 requests received initial approval.

The Minister highlighted that this program receives royal patronage and aims to help families acquire housing by setting the amount of assistance at 100,000 dirhams for purchasing a home whose selling price is less than or equivalent to 300,000 dirhams, and 70,000 dirhams for purchasing a home whose price does not exceed 700,000 dirhams.
