The day before yesterday, Friday, in Rabat, a framework agreement for partnership and cooperation was signed, aiming to improve the social and economic conditions of women working in the informal sector, and groups in vulnerable situations, in implementation of the high royal directives of King Mohammed VI to strengthen the social pillars of the state.
A statement from the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and the Family stated that this agreement signed between the Ministry, the Poste Bank, the General Confederation of Enterprises and Professions, the Moroccan Space for Professionals, and the National Union of Tradesmen and Professionals, which Also takes into account the commitments of the 2021-2026 government program for the economic empowerment of women and the fight against fragility. It aims to keep pace with the target groups and facilitate their social and economic inclusion.
The same source highlighted that the agreement, which also comes as a result of the strategy of the Ministry of Solidarity, Social Inclusion and Family, called “A Bridge for Innovative and Sustainable Social Inclusion,” through the “Bridge of Empowerment and Entrepreneurship” program , also aims to enable the target groups to implement projects and initiatives in various fields. That concerns them and to support them in accessing sources of finance and banking services, as well as launching pioneering projects to empower women and improve their conditions.
