Today, Sunday in Seoul, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, African Cooperation and Moroccans Abroad, Nasser Bourita, and the Minister of Trade of the Republic of Korea, Inkyu Cheung, signed a joint statement on launching exploratory discussions to establish a legal framework for trade and investment between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Korea, in the context of an enhanced partnership agreement.
This announcement paves the way for launching discussions on promoting investments and enhancing economic exchanges, and also constitutes a strong signal to economic actors in both countries.
The economic partnership agreement, which strengthens the existing partnership framework between the two countries, will play an important role in promoting trade exchanges and investments, and will also form a basis for revitalizing the economic development of both countries.
The two ministers agreed to continue high-level economic cooperation, and to launch and complete exploratory discussions as soon as possible in order to begin negotiations.
