The opening ceremony of the Club World Cup, which was hosted by Morocco in 2023, was crowned the best ceremony during the HEAVENT AWARDS 2024 activities, which was hosted by the French city of Cannes.


The HEAVENT AWARDS organization had chosen the ceremony, organized by the Ministry of Youth, Culture and Communication, among the best nominated works, along with other opening ceremonies for international sports events, before heading to the best ceremony.



This global coronation reflects the craftsmanship and skill of Moroccan creativity for the opening ceremony of an international event. It also shows Morocco's ability to organize the largest international events in all fields.


The ceremony, organized at Tangier Ibn Battuta Stadium, dazzled observers around the world, by presenting distinctive artistic performances that introduced the heritage of the Kingdom of Morocco and highlighted the extent of its openness to the world.


The ceremony honored the Moroccan traveler Ibn Battuta, for being a link between cultures and peoples, and for his contribution through his shuttle travels to Morocco’s openness to the world. Moroccan heritage teams also presented artistic paintings that reflect the richness and authenticity of Moroccan heritage, as well as honoring the daughter of the late legend Billy and a special appearance by the national voter Walid regragi . 


Last but not least , Morocco received the award for the best opening ceremony of an international event, at a ceremony held the day before yesterday evening, Thursday, in the French city of Cannes, in the presence of celebrities and international figures in the field of organizing international events.
