King Mohammed VI addressed his loyal people in a lofty speech this Friday evening, beginning with verses from the Holy Quran, specifically the verse: “Indeed, We have granted you a clear victory.” God Almighty has spoken the truth.

In his address to the Moroccan people, the King said, "After fifty years of sacrifices, we are beginning, with God's help and guidance, a new chapter in the process of consolidating the Moroccan identity of the Sahara and finally ending this fabricated conflict, within the framework of a consensual solution based on the autonomy initiative."

The King added, "It is a source of pride that this historic transformation coincides with the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the Green March and the 70th anniversary of Morocco's independence," expressing his joy on this occasion and sharing with the Moroccan people feelings of satisfaction with the content of the Security Council's latest resolution.

The King explained that Morocco is living through a pivotal and decisive turning point in its modern history. There is a time before October 31, 2025, and there is a time after, indicating that the time has come for a unified Morocco, from Tangier to Lagouira, whose rights and historical borders will not be infringed upon by anyone. He recalled in a previous speech that Morocco has moved, in the Western Sahara issue, from a phase of management to a phase of change.

The King added, "The dynamic we launched in recent years has begun to bear fruit on all levels, as two-thirds of the countries in the United Nations now consider the autonomy initiative to be the only framework for resolving this conflict." He added, "Recognition of the Kingdom's economic sovereignty over the southern regions has also increased significantly, following the decisions of the major economic powers.", Like the United States, France, Britain, Russia, Spain and the European Union, by encouraging investments and trade with these regions, which qualifies them to become a pole of development and stability, and an economic hub in its regional surroundings, including the Sahel and Sahara region.

In a related context, the King affirmed that Morocco, thanks be to God, has entered the decisive stage at the international level, as the Security Council resolution has defined the principles and foundations that will ensure a final political solution to this conflict, within the framework of Morocco’s legitimate rights, He explained, "In the context of this UN resolution, Morocco will update and elaborate on the autonomy initiative and will present it to the United Nations, to form the sole basis for negotiation, as it is the realistic and applicable solution."

The King expressed his gratitude and appreciation to all the countries that contributed to this change through their constructive stances and tireless efforts in support of truth and legitimacy. He said: "I especially mention the United States of America, under the leadership of our friend, His Excellency President Donald Trump, whose efforts paved the way for a final resolution to this conflict.", We also thank our friends in Britain, Spain, and especially France, for their efforts to ensure the success of this peaceful process.

The King added, "We also extend our sincere thanks to all the brotherly Arab and African countries that have consistently expressed their unwavering and unconditional support for the Moroccan Sahara, as well as to the various countries around the world that support the autonomy initiative." He continued, "Despite the positive developments in the issue of our territorial integrity, Morocco remains committed to finding a solution that is neither victorious nor vanquished, and that preserves the dignity of all parties.", He explained that Morocco does not consider these changes a victory, nor does it exploit them to fuel conflict and disputes.

On the other hand, the King made a sincere appeal to the Moroccans in the Tindouf camps to seize this historic opportunity to reunite with their families and to take advantage of the autonomy that allows them to contribute to managing their local affairs, developing their homeland, and building their future within the framework of a unified Morocco, He added, "As the King of the country, the guarantor of the rights and freedoms of citizens, I affirm that all Moroccans are equal, there is no difference between those returning from the Tindouf camps and their brothers inside the homeland."

The King extended a fraternal invitation to Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to conduct a sincere fraternal dialogue between Morocco and Algeria in order to overcome differences and build new relations based on trust, brotherhood, and good neighborliness, reaffirming Morocco’s commitment to continue working to revive the Arab Maghreb Union on the basis of mutual respect, cooperation, and integration among its five countries.

The King said, "The comprehensive development, security, and stability that our southern provinces are experiencing is thanks to the sacrifices of all Moroccans. We can only express our pride and appreciation for all our loyal subjects, especially the inhabitants of our southern provinces, who have always affirmed their attachment to the nation's sacred values and to the national and territorial unity of the country."، He praised the tireless efforts made by official, party, and parliamentary diplomacy, and various national institutions, to bring a final close to the issue of our territorial integrity.

In concluding his speech, the King said, "We take this opportunity, on the anniversary of the immortal Green March, to recall with utmost reverence and appreciation the immense sacrifices made by the Royal Armed Forces, the security forces in all their branches, and their families throughout the country over the past fifty years, in defense of the nation's unity and in preservation of its security and stability.", We also pray for the pure souls of its creator, our blessed father, His Majesty King Hassan II, may God honor his resting place, and all the righteous martyrs of the nation, adds King Mohammed VI.
