Morocco decides to cancel the “Eid Sacrifice ” ritual this year.. Read the details ✍️👆👇👇

The King Mohammed VI, in his capacity as Commander of the Faithful and the faithful watcher of the performance of religious rituals in accordance with what is required by necessity and the legitimate interest, and what is required by his duty to remove hardship and harm and establish facilitation, and in compliance with what was stated in the Almighty’s saying: “And He has not placed upon you in religion any difficulty,” decided to cancel the “Eid sacrifice ” ritual for this year.

The King explained in his royal message, which was read by the Minister of Endowments and Islamic Affairs, Ahmed Al-Tawfiq, today, Wednesday, during the main news bulletin of the “Al-Oula” TV channel, “We have been keen, since we assumed the Great Imamate, surrounded by the strongest pledge of allegiance, to provide everything necessary for our loyal people to fulfill the conditions of religion, His duties and Sunnahs, his acts of worship and his dealings, are in accordance with what God has bestowed on the Moroccan nation of adhering to the pillars, adhering to certain Sunnahs, and celebrating the days of God, including Eid al-Adha, which will come in less than four months.

He added, "Celebrating this holiday is not just a passing occasion. Rather, it carries strong religious connotations, embodying the depth of our loyal subjects' attachment to the manifestations of our true religion and their keenness to get closer to God Almighty and to strengthen social and family ties, through this solemn occasion."

The Commander of the Faithful said, "Our keenness to enable you to fulfill this religious ritual in the best conditions is accompanied by our duty to be aware of the climatic and economic challenges facing our country, which have led to a significant decline in livestock numbers."

To this end, King Mohammed VI confirms that, taking into account that Eid al-Adha is a certain year if possible, undertaking it in these difficult circumstances will cause real harm to large segments of our people, especially those with limited income.

He pointed out that, “and out of the trust entrusted to us, as the Commander of the Faithful and the faithful watcher of performing the rituals of religion in accordance with what necessity and the legitimate interest require, and what is required by our duty to remove hardship and harm and establish ease, and in compliance with what was stated in the Almighty’s saying: “And He has not placed upon you any difficulty in religion,” we call upon our dear people not to perform the ritual of the Eid sacrifice for this year.”

He concluded by saying: “And we will, God Almighty willing, slaughter the sacrifice on behalf of our people and follow the Sunnah of our grandfather, the Chosen One, may the best prayers and peace be upon him, when he slaughtered two rams and said: ‘This is for myself and this is for my nation.’”
