The persons arrested in Tetouan and Fnideq were placed under theoretical guard measures under the supervision of the competent Public Prosecution in charge of terrorism and extremism cases, in order to determine their internal and external connections, as well as to determine the level of their involvement in the framework of the terrorist projects planned by the members of this cell.
The communication indicated that this joint operation falls within the framework of continuous and distinguished security coordination between the Moroccan security services and their Spanish counterparts to repel terrorist threats to the security of the two kingdoms.
