The National syndicate of Free Sector Doctors appealed to the government and the Ministry of Health to solve the problem of medical and pharmacy students, who have gone on an open strike since December 2023, in order to avoid a white year and the dire consequences that would harm the interest of the nation and future generations of doctors and medical staff.

The National syndicate of Free Sector Doctors announced in a statement, a copy of which was available on the NajibPressEng website today, Saturday, its deep regret and the lack of effective solutions to solve this problem, explaining that it will place the country in a crisis whose consequences may not be good for it and the future of medicine in general, as this dilemma will affect the future. On the health system and on the future of tomorrow’s doctors, who are in dire need of adequate and complete training appropriate to the duration of academic training and internationally applicable training.

The same statement pointed out the seriousness this strike has reached, expressing its concern about this situation, offering suggestions and solutions that can be reached by the government, especially the ministry responsible for the sector, through meetings and consultations with student representatives.
